Hi! I'm a graphic designer from Cincinnati, Ohio, currently studying Graphic Design at Ringling College of Art and Design. My love for design started in the third grade when my grandmother taught me Blackletter calligraphy. That one lesson sparked a passion for typography, lettering, and visual storytelling that has shaped everything I've created since.

 

I'm the owner of Nina Susan Design, where I love helping small businesses bring their ideas to life through branding and graphic design. I also create original illustrations, surface pattern designs, and hand-lettered products that celebrate everyday moments with creativity and personality.

 

My entrepreneurial journey began in 2020 when I started designing and selling stickers on Redbubble. In high school, I expanded my small business by selling stickers, greeting cards, and art prints at craft shows throughout Cincinnati. Seeing people connect with something I created inspired me to keep growing and pursue design as a career.

When I'm not designing, I'm teaching modern calligraphy workshops as a Sip & Script instructor or creating custom engraved gifts with hand-lettered calligraphy. I love exploring new creative outlets, whether I'm developing a brand identity, illustrating a new collection, designing seamless patterns, or lettering by hand. Every project is an opportunity to create something meaningful, beautiful, and uniquely personal.

When I'm away from my sketchbook or computer,, you'll probably find me shopping, working on The New Yorker crossword puzzle, crocheting, puzzling, or scrapbooking.
